The biggest time of year for tourism is from May through September, although crowds do not significantly affect Serbia. The weather is stable with a continental climate; hot, clammy summers, cold winters and heavy snowfall inland. The ski season runs from late November until March.
Winter temperatures are, as you would have thought, very cold; January is rather stable averaging between -3°C (26°F) and 3°C (37°F); slightly colder in the mountains areas. Serbia's summer temperatures average 22°C (71°F) and with mild rainfall, during the mild summer storms, there tends to be a little more, but not nearly enough to disrupt your activities planned for the day.
