Best Time to Travel to Malta

The best time to visit Malta is from April to June, between the wet season and the hot Mediterranean summer. In addition, this is the time when room rates drop as much as 40%. For adequate weather, September and October are good months to tour Malta, although the enjoyable weather can be sporadic by a hot and humid wind. You should also be aware of the dangerously hot temperatures of July and August.

The Christmas and New Year holiday season is the busiest tourist season, when many Maltese natives return home to visit friends and family, and European vacationers come looking for a spot of winter rays. Otherwise, you can find some very inexpensive flight and lodging deals between November and March.
