Best Time to Travel to Lithuania

May through September is the summer and spring seasons and this is by far the best time of year to travel in Lithuania. In spring, the weather is warm, and the days are long. April and May, is when the trees and flowers begin to bloom and show their true colors. June is midsummer-madness month and equally evokes the locals close connection to nature and their heritage. During the high season in the months of July and August, low-budget hotels and bed and breakfasts can be completely booked. Despite the fact that these are the warmest and busiest months they can also be the wettest and subject to thunderstorms.

There is usually a striking dust of snow on the ground in the winter months from November through March, although there are also only a few hours of daylight each day and, when the snow thaws, it brings with it a large amount slush too much for enjoyment. April and October have cool, brisk days as well as mild spring like or autumnal ones.
