When you tour Yemen it all depends on where you are going. If you are going to the Tihama, Aden or Hadhramawt, do not go in July, this is when the extreme heat can be excruciating. If you are traveling to the highlands, in December the evenings can get incredibly cold. From October to February, the majority of the country is dry and dusty, and in March, April and August the temperature is enjoyable but you may get wet in parts of Yemen. April through May and September through October is perhaps the best time no matter which direction you plan on visiting.
